Bunbury Hospital Upgrade
THE PROMISE: Mark McGowan promised to fund a $20 million upgrade to Bunbury Hospital which would lead to 200 more beds. He also promised a new Step Up, Step Down mental health facility and an Urgent Care Clinic.
STATUS: There is no funding for any additional beds at Bunbury Hospital and for a new Step Up, Step Down mental health facility. The McGowan Government stated it will be in future Budgets. There is $2 million worth of funding allocated to Urgent Care Clinics across WA.

As per the above excerpt from the 2017 Budget Papers which outline funding for Health election commitments, there is no amount of funding allocated specifically to Bunbury Hospital.
